These wonderful state of the art Eco friendly pods have been designed to create flexible living spaces which can be configured internally according to users wishes. The low tech pods are made from English chestnut shingles with a ribbed timber frame, they are multi functional so can be adapted to the Educational, Residential and Holiday sectors.

To reduce heat loss in the winter and aid cooling in the summer the pods are raised off the ground by Douglas Fir stilts, the stilts allow the pods to be comfortably situated on hills or uneven ground. The inspiration behind the design is âup-cyclingâ â taking buildings that are considered not worth saving and bringing them back to a habitable condition by adding lots of insulation through sustainable resources which provide 40% more energy efficiency.
