Caution – High Winds!
Friday, November 12th, 2010
High-sided vehicles such as caravans and motorhomes are at particular risk over the coming days due to high winds sweeping the country.
The Highways Agency emphasised that with speeds expected to reach 80mph in some areas, a number of road users will be vulnerable.
Those in the north-west England and Wales are especially susceptible to the difficult driving conditions, so extra precautions need to be taken before heading out.
The Highways Agency recommended planning routes thoroughly and even postponing journeys that can be made once conditions are safer. Furthermore, they pointed out that leaving extra time to complete trips may be necessary, as this will prevent motorists rushing in the difficult weather.

Two Berth Caravans for Sale
Wednesday, November 10th, 2010
If you’re looking to catch the last of the sun before winter really sets in, it’s well worth considering a holiday caravanning or camping. Domestic holidays like this tend to be cheaper than going abroad and can be perfect for those without much time off to spare. Here at Find Caravan our website has a fantastic selection of pre-owned caravans for sale, including two berth designs ideal for a romantic weekend with that special someone. If camping sounds like too much hard work why not invest in a caravan for the coming years and enjoy reasonable holidaying together.
Many people simply don’t consider how fun, exciting and unique a caravan holiday can be. Picture the scene; you and your partner hitching up a lovely pre-owned two berth in the sun, heading for the coast or venture further afield if finances allow. Modern caravans are safe, warm and most come with a selection of mod-cons, depending upon your budget.
Why not take a look at our caravan directory? The site features photographs and specifications for the various models on offer, including details of their locations around the country. There’s even a useful search facility, allowing you to specify details like price, location and type.
With the cost of living still on the rise, it’s important for homeowners to trim the fat where possible. In terms of holidaying, buying a used two berth caravan (such as a Bailey Ranger for example) can save a lot of money when compared with purchasing new.
The majority of used caravans for sale tend to be well looked after too; unlike a car, a caravan is usually only used periodically, meaning wear and tear is kept to a minimum. Why not log on to our website to see what bargains you can find. We don’t charge owners to advertise and you won’t be bombarded with commercial adverts either – just genuine, high quality used caravans for sale.

Bailey Caravans
Tuesday, November 9th, 2010
Bailey Caravans has continued to defy the economic downturn by securing retail orders to the value of £15 million at this year’s International Caravan and Motorhome Show.
Bailey revealed that the figures represent the best ever sales performance for the company at an exhibition in both volume and the value of orders received.
Retailer sites have reported that sales have been above those for the equivalent period last year. Baileys performance at the exhibition seems to have been mirrored by other manufacturers and dealerships throughout the industry.
Caravan forums on the internet also show huge numbers of people who are looking to purchase a used caravan for the first time as they are new to caravanning or are returning to caravanning after a break. Many buyers are looking for a sound and sensibly priced caravan to see if they enjoy the experience before committing to making a brand new purchase.
